Dear Amazing Palisades Families,

Happy Last Day of School! What a wonderful year. From strong academics, Trunk or Treat, Valentines Day Dance, CGI Math Parent Night, restaurant nights to our 5th grade activities we have been busy. We will miss our 5th graders so much. Our 5th grade class have been wonderful role-models to our lower grade students. They are an amazing group with bright futures ahead of them. We will miss all of you so much. Remember Once a Wave Always a Wave! I wish our entire wave community a wonderful safe summer and we will see you on August 16th! 

Important Dates:

First Day of School- August 16th (Early Early Out Day Kindergarten- 11:40 Dismissal and 1st-5th-11:50 dismissal )

Summer Office Hours

The last day the office is open will be June 6th from 8-3pm. We will be closed for lunch from 12-1pm. Our office will reopen with limited hours on July 25th from 8-noon. We will officially reopen our office full day on July 29th. The hours will be from 8-3pm and we will be closed from 12-1pm for lunch daily. Please email with any questions.

We will be celebrating students in the fall for grades 1-4 for their reading accomplishments!  

Buddy Bench:

The students have spoken! Students in all grades are requesting a buddy bench at recess. This is a bench where people can go if they are looking for someone to play with. We are looking for donations for the buddy bench. Please email me if you are interested in donating to this cause!

Volunteer Information:

We are excited to have you volunteer at our school. Please make sure you  submit your volunteer information on the CUSD website to be approved to volunteer. The results  take a few days to go through and you will be unable to volunteer until we receive those results. If you need to take a COVID-19 test, please note that it needs to be taken within 7 days of volunteering.Thanks for your help with this process.

Education Foundation News:

The Foundation will be busy this summer planning its next event which is tentatively scheduled for September 23rd. It will be a parent-only fiesta and will include a large silent auction. If you are interested in assisting with the solicitation of auction items or have an item to donate, please email Denise Iger at ddiger@hotmail.com.

All parents who plan to volunteer on campus need to complete the CUSD Tier II online application at a minimum. Review the Phase 3 Protocol Packet for details and more options.
